About Us

The Oklahoma Art Guild (OAG) is a non-profit organization founded in 1954, with the objective of creating, promoting and developing all forms of the visual arts.  The membership includes professionals, amateurs, art enthusiasts and patrons of the visual arts.

Sara Sebastian has loved art for  as long as she can remember.  She didn't always have a chance, 
as a young child, to explore that 
creativity  u ntil she and her family moved  from Lebanon t o the U.S. when she was ten years old.  She  began  taking art classes in middle school and fell in love with it. 
  
Sara has participated in many art-related events, such as art shows, art festivals, and life  drawing
 classes in Oklahoma and  California.  Mix e d media art has  always caught her attention as  s he is a very texture and color  driven artist. She works with  acrylics, India in k, oi ls, oil  pastels, charcoal,  and more.
As a thirty-two year old artist in Oklahoma, Sara is excited to be a part of the art culture here and is humbled by the hop e that others ar e discoveri ng their cre ative paths around the globe.

The Oklahoma Art Guild announces a  call for entries for our member art show "Re-Emerge" which will take place May 12-June 3, 2017 at 50 Penn Place, 1900 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK. 

Open to all OAG  members. (You may join at submission.)
