A Community of Support

Hats off to eig hth grader Tiernan Donnely who performed in a community production of the Christmas Carol earlier this month. In support of Tiernan, other eighth grade students, teachers, and parents attended one of his performances.

Decorating the lobby of LPA, black out poetry crafted by high school students uses Wurthering Heights to create new art pieces. Students first decided what design they would draw and were then assigned a random page from the classic to sketch the design on. Using line and boxes, the students pieced together their poems by highlighting words from the background that go along with their sketch.
