2017 USAPL Southwest Regionals

This years Southwest Regionals to be held in Reno Nevada
American Iron Event's and Reno welcomes the USA POWERLIFTING SOUTHWEST REGIONALS! Events will take place at the American Iron Event room, Reno Nevada on July 7th, 8th, and 9th 2017. The events will include open, teen and master's divisions for men & women. Lifts will include bench press, squat and deadlift. This intense event will also include the industry's best known powerlifting vendors and will no doubt be entertaining and inspiring for everyone in attendance.

USA Powerlifting
USA Powerlifting (formerly American Drug Free Powerlifting Association, Inc.) is the leading powerlifting organization in the United States. USA Powerlifting is a member of the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF), the governing body of powerlifting internationally. The IPF is comprised of member federations of 100+ countries on six continents. USA Powerlifting, through its affiliation with the IPF, also sends a national team to participate in the World Games. The World Games is an international multi-sports event hosted by the International World Games Association (IWGA) that falls under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The event consists of official sports and demonstration sports selected from those not included in the Olympic Games. The Games are held every fourth year, following the year of the Summer Olympics.

ABOUT THE MEET
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
This is an open championship. There are no qualifying totals and/or competitions required to enter this championship. All lifters competing in the championship must be a member of USA Powerlifting. Memberships to
USA Powerlifting can now be purchased on-line here
AWARDS
Awards will be presented to all 1st - 3rd place finishers, for each weight class and division. Champion of Champions award will be presented to the best overall male and female lifters for the Championship. The overall best lifters will be determined by the Wilks formula.
ADMISSION
All spectators may enjoy the competition for an admission fee of $10.00
for the entire day.

- 11:30 to 12:30 pm - Drug-testing Protocol

American Iron Gym and Event Room
The event will take place at American Iron Gym and Event Room, 650 South Rock Blvd, Reno NV 89502. You will have access to a full gym for your use, and exclusive use of the training hall which includes 10 stations for your Squats. Bench, and Deadlift warm-ups. The venue is less than 5 minutes from the host hotel resort

There is plenty of FREE, close, self and valet parking and once you arrive you never have to drive.
Grand Sierra provides a free shuttle to and from the airport. The venue resort is perfect for the competitor, friends, and family.

(RNO). By far the most convenient, located just minutes from the hotel and venue.
