Are some beliefs non-negotiable?
With 2.2 billion Christians worshiping in 41,000 denominations, how can we possibly fulfill the prayer of Jesus that we all be as one (John 17:22)? Diversity does not necessarily mean division. Even so, it's good to ask whether some doctrines are essential and non-negotiable in defining the Christian faith.

The time is near - Revelation 22:6-7
The Lamb declares, "Look, I am coming quickly!" Not long after that, an angel tells John, "Don't seal the prophetic words of this book, because the time is near." How do we reconcile the announcement of the imminent return of Christ with the fact that 2,000 years have passed since these words were uttered?
