Welcome Spring! This is a busy time of year as we dust off our clubs and prepare for the golf season
ahead!

I hope everyone has had a chance to sign up to play in one or more leagues this summer. It is a great
way to get to know other EWGA members and improve your handicap as well. With 10 summer
leagues, we hope to have something to fit your schedule and skill level. League registration is open now

The Rules and Etiquette Seminar is our first educational opportunity this year. It is at 5:30, Tuesday, April
11th at Red Hawk Learning Center, and is taught by PGA professional Brant McGivern. We are combining
this seminar with our April Mingler, so there will be food and soft drinks available and lots of time to
socialize. The price of admission is a donation to either Dress for Success (women's business attire or
accessory item) or to The First Tee Program (a golf related item) or a small cash donation to either

We are also offering several Golf Skills Clinics this year. Our first clinic Sand & Bunkers is
scheduled for 6:00 on Monday, May 8th at Emeis Golf Course. Erin Strieck and Jon Stockton of Pinnacle
Country Club will be our instructors. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.

For those new to golf, or just wanting to brush up on their skills, we also offer our New Golfer Series,
taught by PGA professional Brant McGivern at Red Hawk Learning Center. Session 1 begins 5:30 pm on
April 18 th , Session 2 begins 7:00 pm on June 6 th . Registration for the New Golfer Sessions 1 and 2 is now
