Serving the world around us is one of the primary ways we invite all people into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

There are outreach opportunities that support Community Impact and Missions. These include serving those that may be hungry, poor, abused, lonely and even those who are in recovery and two brand new serving options: JOY PROM & Lake Wylie Planning Room Makeover Project!

Here are the upcoming serving opportunities:
Friday, April 28 &Saturday, April 29  - JOY PROM
Friday, April 28 &Saturday, April 29 - Lake Wylie
           Teacher Planning Room Makeover Project
Sunday, April 30 -Thursday, May 4 - Charlotte Family
            Housing.

*PLEASE CREATE VOLUNTEER PROFILE BEFORE REGISTERING:

Current Message Series

Some of us have them.

Some of us hold them.

Some of us want to get rid of them.

They're love handles.

But they're actually more than a part of our mid-section.

They're the source of a question:  do you have a handle on love? Romantic love? Family love? Parental love?  Friendly love?

Can you handle being in love? Out of love? Losing love? Renewing love?

Those are some of the deep questions we'll address this spring in Love Handles.

Notes Received at Good Shepherd
Thank you so much for the beautiful peace lilly and all the prayers from the best church I have ever been to. The flowers meant the world to me. Thank you Lauren and Chris for the flowers and the visit. Your prayers and friendship really helped me. My brother had suffered so much and lost both of his children. I will really miss him, but I know he is happy and free of pain. He is with God, but I miss him. I know I will see him again. Prayers still needed for Mickey and me.
Thank you for being such a loving church.
Love, Mickey and Elizabeth Lawson
