January 7th: Our Annual 3 Kings Pancake Breakfast in Hughson Hall 9:30-10:30. Come straight to Hughson Hall for songs, storytelling (with costumes), and-of course-- pancakes. Seeking donations and participation for all ages and every family!
Calvary CYM is partnering with the Gesher Religious School at Congregation Shir Shalom to collect toiletries for refugee families. There is a basket in the coatroom to accept the following full-sized toiletries (not travel or hotel-sized, please):
Adults and teens: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant (men's and women's), shampoo, bars of soap, washcloths (dark colors preferred), combs/hairbrushes, sanitary napkins, emery boards, and nail clippers
Children: children's toothpaste and toothbrushes, children's/baby shampoo, children's body wash, children's hairbrushes, washcloths
January 15th: 10 am-noon
Martin Luther King Interfaith Day of Service
Families from Calvary and Congregation Shir Shalom will gather at Hughson Hall from 10 am to noon to assemble toiletry kits for refugee families and to pray together.
Please plan to come to join in this event for the morning or for a portion of it. RSVP to the office (633-7800) or to Emily Sityar ([email protected]) by Thursday January 11th so that we can plan appropriately.
