Connect With Pacifica This Week
Greetings!

Big issues affecting the community continue to come before the City Council.  On Monday, your elected leaders will consider placing an item on the ballot this November concerning rent stabilization.  In addition, the time period for protests to a proposed sewer rate increase to ensure proper maintenance and repairs over time to this important infrastructure system expires on Monday, after which the City Council will consider whether to approve the fee increases to meet those maintenance needs.  Your participation at the City Council meeting, which begins at 7pm is always encouraged.

The City is continuing its efforts to receive public input on meeting the community’s long term library needs.  Three public workshops will be held throughout the calendar year.  The first is scheduled for Tuesday, May 23 at the Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School.  An open house will begin at 4pm and the workshop will start at 7pm.  Be sure to mark your calendars.  Hope to see you there!

Please let me know if you have comments or questions, and  thank you for wanting to   Connect with Pacifica!

Best,
KEITH BRESKIN
Interim City Manager
