Two ways to support Woodbridge Township Libraries and Future Library Services
It only takes a moment of time to add your voice...
On behalf of the New Jersey Library Association (NJLA):
Our libraries need your help to push legislation across the line. It has been more than fifteen years since there has been a program for capital construction in New Jersey’s public libraries. Library buildings need to meet the evolving needs of our communities,--ADA compliance and technology related work is included. The New Jersey Library Construction Bond Act (A222/S2171) would authorize $125,000,000 in general obligation bonds to finance capital projects in public libraries. It would require a one to one match on the part of participating libraries. This bill permits a public referendum question to be placed on the general election ballot for a vote, seeking public approval to bond for public library capital needs.
Please fill out the NJLA link to let our legislators know how important investment in public libraries is.

Royal Albert's Palace (Fords) donated a feast with delicious, traditional Indian dishes as well as Italian selections to thank library staff on April 11th, National Library Worker's Day.
The Woodbridge Library Foundation organized and contributed to the luncheon, and the staff was very appreciative of the recognition. Special thanks was offered to the Township Maintenance staff who provide support services to the library every day.
As of May 1, Woodbridge Township library cards will be accepted in nearly fifty Middlesex and Union County libraries to borrow materials. Municipal libraries are generally open to public use, but through the
MUtual Reciprocity Among Libraries Agreement (MURAL), a Woodbridge Township Library card will be welcomed for lending and select additional services.
