Doctor's Tip for the week

What Causes Kids' Headaches?

It's normal to worry, but childhood headaches aren't normally a sign of something more serious.

Headaches aren't just an adult problem. They're very common for children and teens. In one study, 56% of boys and 74% of girls between ages 12 and 17 reported having a headache within the past month.

Parenting Tip for the week

Do Your Kids Get Enough Exercise?

Walking, playing tag, and other movement helps kids sleep, burn off energy, and build thinking skills. See if yours are getting what they need.

How much exercise do kids need every day?
  1. 30 minutes
  2. 1 hour
  3. 2 hours

News From LTA
View From The Front
Hello Families,

We hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are ready for a nice short week and a long weekend! This week we have some Spring Party's going on as well as some Egg Hunts! Not all the classrooms will have Spring Party's so make sure you check in with your child's teacher. It should be a fun week filled with bunnies, little chicks and, of course eggs!

All of the children are really excited about the warmer weather and being able to play outside more, so make sure to apply sunscreen before leaving home, and you may bring in a bottle to reapply before afternoon outside time. Please makes sure you feel out a medical form before giving your child's teacher any medications, ointment, or sunscreen.

Parents please continue to bring in Egg or Fillers to contribute to your child's Egg Hunt. The egg hunt schedules are as follows:

Toddler-1: Thursday, 4/13 @ 10:30
Toddler-2: Thursday, 4/13 @ 9:30
Waddler-1: Tuesday, 4/11 @ 10:30
Preschool: Wednesday, 4/12 @ 10:00
PreK-1: Thursday, 4/13 @ 11:00
PreK-2: Thursday, 4/13 @ 11:30

Please let the teachers know if you are available to attend your child's Egg Hunt, if you're unable to attend we do understand!

Have a great week!
