Dear St. Philip School Families. On behalf of Assisting Children Ministry, we would like to thank you so very much for all your love and donations. Starting with all the wonderful and many school supplies, and the candy to help out with our food bags in December of 2016. Now your Ministry donation is close to a total of $500.00. This money will go towards buying school uniforms and shoes for the children to go to school this next year.Once again thank you to Mrs. Ramirez, the wonderful school staff, and all the amazing families at St. Philip School.
Many Blessings, Hedy Bravo Juarez and Angelica Loera

All St. Philip the Apostle families and friends are invited to preview the art show in Holy Angel Hall, May 11th from 6-8pm. We will be serving a special dessert. A hands on art project will be available that would make the perfect keepsake gift for Mother's Day or a special friend. Last year we had so much fun being able to showcase all of the students art in a relaxed festive atmosphere! Don't miss this fun night!

Hello K-7 Parents, As you know the Spring Concert this year, on Friday, May 19 will be "Songs of Peace, Love, and Hope." In keeping with this theme, students are asked to wear shirts or blouses in the calm colors of blue, green, or purple. These can be prints or solids, and in combination. T-shirts are fine as long as they are solid colors without graphics (Michael's is a good source for a solid t-shirt). 8 grade girls will wear a black dress and boys will wear nice slacks and a dress shirt. K to 7th grade will wear blue jeans - long, short, capri, or skirts. No short-shorts, in keeping with school rules. Boys may substitute navy blue school pants, long or short. Shoes need to be safe on the risers. Athletic shoes are fine, and no slip-ons please. If your student(s) will be unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible. It really does help to know well in advance. Just send an email to ghoman@stphiliptheapostle.org.

SERVICE HOURS INFORMATION
|
PERIOD 2 IS ENDING! Please note that the service hour period for the current school year will end APRIL 30. You must have all of your hours worked by this date. Events worked on May 1 or after will count for the 2017-18 school year. DINNER DANCE Please submit your dinner dance hours by April 7. These often get forgotten and causes unnecessary billing. Note: ALL dinner dance hours will count for the current 2016-17 school year. The ONE exception is clean up. If you work the full clean up shift you will receive double hours and these can be used for the new year.
BE PROACTIVE Please check your hours online today. Get all of your hours logged before it's too late. You don't want an unnecessary bill!
FEST AND DDA HOURS Please note that we are having a continual problem with the website. Fall fest and DDA hours are showing up as school hours. As long as you record them under the correct category (fest and DDA), they will be seen that way by billing. You will see them as school hours. We are trying to correct this issue.

Please follow the directions of the staff and volunteers when dropping off and picking up students and walking on school premises. Our dedicated volunteers and the faculty and staff are positioned to keep everyone safe.
