After several months of advocating for our
2017 policy platform and stopping dangerous bills (ie. SB 60), we are excited to announce the passing of
SB 25: Farm to Food Bank. SB 25: Farm to Food Bank is only the beginning of our efforts to increase access to nutritious, local foods and creating market opportunities for our farmers.
We will be returning to the state capitol in 2018 with a stronger and more united Coalition to advocate for policies that support a resilient, equitable local food system for the Mountain State. Thank you to each and every one of you for devoting your time and energy in making your voices heard to support our food and farm community.
In the meantime, the WV Food & Farm Coalition will be closely following the United States Farm Bill 2018 and advocating for issues directly impacting our food and farm community in West Virginia.

Public Screening of Under Contract: Farmers and the Fine Print in Charleston, West Virginia
on April 25th at 7PM
The WV Food & Farm Coalition and the WV International Film Festival are excited to present Under Contract: Farmers and the Fine Print tomorrow at the Capitol Theater in downtown Charleston. West Virginia farmers featured in the film, film director, and a representative from the Rural Advancement Foundation International (RAFI) will be introducing the film and staying for Q&A afterwards.
