3-Foot Section Added to EAP Regional Training Session in New York
|
The United States Hunter Jumper Association has opened a 3-foot section at the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program Regional Training Session, June 12-16, at the Cazenovia College Equine Education Center in Cazenovia, New York.
Applications for the 3-foot section must be submitted by May 5 and they will be reviewed on a rolling basis and slots will be filled first come, first served. Riders participating in the 3-foot section will have full access to all of the educational sessions during the regional training session but are not eligible for the National Training Session.
Clinician Geoff Teall and expert stable manager Colleen Reed will lead the New York EAP Regional Training Session. Additionally, participants will take a special field trip to get a behind-the-scenes tour of John Madden Sales, Inc., home of Olympian Beezie Madden and her retired Olympic mounts, as well as hear an anatomy lecture from Dr. Carol Buckhout, assistant professor of equine business management at Cazenovia College.
