This session provides an introduction to the Foundation Center's comprehensive online database, Foundation Directory Online Professional. Glades Technical Advisory Committee Meeting

Our featured guest speaker for this month's meeting is Ms. Verdenia C. Baker, our County Administrator, and her presentation will focus on business and economic development.  Palm Beach County Office of Community Revitalization is dedicated to increasing the communication and participation with the Lake Region communities, and GTAC meetings provide an opportunity for residents and other community stakeholders to:
* Discuss pressing issues, learn about available County and other community resources, share experiences and successes, and offer assistance;
* Encourage networking and information sharing to facilitate the development of partnerships between neighborhood groups, governmental agencies, and outside organizations; and
* Promote productive communications and collaborations between those community groups and both the public and private sectors.

2017 Cultural Camp Guide for Palm Beach County is here with $9,000 in scholarships available

The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County has published its 2017 Cultural Camp Guide a comprehensive online  listing of art and cultural summer programs in Palm Beach County. There also will be 30 camp scholarships available totaling $9,000 to those who apply on or before May 1. There are opportunities for children to learn dance, music, visual arts, theater, nature/science and writing. Click here for camp dates, age requirements, fee information and scholarship information. Apply online for scholarships before the May 1, 11:59 p.m. deadline. Scholarships will be awarded by lottery, based upon need.

Roslyn S. Jaffe Awards

Sponsored by the Ascena Foundation, the Roslyn S. Jaffe Awards program provides financial awards to everyday heroes who are making the world a better place for women and children, with a focus in the areas of health, education, social reform, and esteem. Each year, the program chooses a single grand-prize winner to receive $100,000 and two runners up to receive $25,000 based on work they do that empowers women and children in the fields listed above.
