Presidents' Message

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
So far the staff at Raskob has had a great week filled with surprises every day with more to come!  Thank you to all the families who volunteered their time and to those whom donated wine. Please read below for more info on Teacher Appreciation happenings.

We urge you to join our next  RPA Board Meeting / Quarterly Coffee tomorrow, Friday, May 5th . Dr. Kate Perry, social skills group leader,  will talk to us about the programs she runs at the school.  If you have a child in a social skills group, are thinking of joining one next year, or are just curious to learn more about what they are all about, you won't want to miss this!

We've done well, but we're still short of our annual fundraising goal. Please donate when you get a chance - any amount is welcome. We'd really like to get Raskob all of their wishes. You can drop of a check in the office or you may  click here to donate online.  When donating online please put RPA fundraising in the "optional message" portion.

All the very best,

Mark and Phil

UPDATE

The RPA sponsored a fun and delicious luncheon for all the school staff yesterday from  Panera; there was an assortment of fresh sandwiches, salads, french bread, yummy ice teas and homemade cupcakes with an array of cookies and chocolate candies.  It was enjoyed by everyone!  A special thank you to the parents who bravely supervised the play-yard so all staff could enjoy time and eats together to celebrate.

To end the week of Raskob School Appreciation, the RPA is also sponsoring 'Flowers on Friday'  May 5.

We are inviting each child to bring in one or two garden flowers (or purchased) to contribute to the bouquets we will be giving all the school staff (teachers, teaching aids, administrators and support staff).  Twenty-seven vases will be given away with love and thanks.

The students need to bring in their flowers Friday morning at drop-off as our parent volunteers will be collecting them between 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

It's amazing how quickly the school year is coming to close.  Many thanks for your continued support as we celebrate the Raskob school staff!
