WES BRIDGE BUILDING TEAM RESULTS
Our team of 5th and 6th graders recently capped off their bridge-building season with a successful showing at the state competition in Randolph. The team took second place in bridge strength. Constructed from popsicle sticks, toothpicks, Elmer's glue, and dental floss, their suspension bridge took a 256 pound load. The team's other entry, a solid truss took 159 pounds. The team earned five additional awards including presentation. Congratulations to Declan, Ethan, Hudson, Jack, Jacob, and Will on their accomplishments. Thank you to Ms. Gauvin and Mr. Fisher for advising the team.
