Division Highlights

Academic Super Bowl
Evansville Day School placed in all three events at Thursday's Academic Super Bowl at Harrison High School!

3rd: English and Interdisicplinary
2nd: Fine Arts and Social Studies
1st: Science and Math

In our division, we were the only school that placed in all categories in our area competition.  The Science team earned the 13th highest score in the state for our division (out of 67 teams). The Math team earned the 17th highest score in the state for our division (out of 67 teams). Even though only the top 6 teams in our division move onto state competition, we are still proud of all of your hard work. Congratulations everyone!

Prom 2017
Prom is this Saturday from 6:30 - 10:30 pm at Quail Crossing Golf Club.

It is our goal to ensure prom is fun, memorable, and safe. We are thankful Day School students generally avoid some of the temptations that cause students to celebrate in unsafe ways. We are confident this year will be no exception.

As a reminder, Day School has a zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol, drugs, and tobacco as outlined in the  Student-Parent Handbook (pages 20-21). These expectations have been communicated at school and this is an additional reminder of the importance of enjoying a substance-free evening.

Day School Community Highlights

Gallery Night
Please join us as we celebrate your child's art and creativity with a fun, free family event! Our all-school art show, Gallery Night, is  Tuesday April 25 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm
In the past, student artwork was displayed at UE's Shanklin Theatre during Fine Arts Night. This year, EDS artists have their own separate Gallery Night! This event will take place in the Atrium and will feature Kindergarten through 12 Grade art. Light refreshments (and ice cream!) will be served. This is a free family event; siblings and extended family and friends are welcome. Please come and enjoy the art!
