Erin Robinson

Erin Robinson grew up in South Hill, Virginia and graduated from Park View High School.  While a student at Park View, she was a dual enrollment student at Southside Virginia Community College.  As such, she received her Associate of Arts and Sciences from SVCC a month before receiving her high school diploma.

Having identified her area of interest at SVCC, Erin reflects that making the transition to a four-year university was easy since she already knew what career she wanted to pursue.  Erin transferred to Longwood University as a Junior, having earned enough college credits from SVCC to do so.   She earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Longwood and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Counselor Education, with the goal of becoming a Licensed School Counselor (LSC).

Erin is employed at SVCC as the Adult Education Specialist for Region 13 (Brunswick, Mecklenburg, and Halifax counties) and enthuses, "SVCC aided me in achieving my education goals.  SVCC is truly where success starts!"
