THANK YOU : A Heartfelt thanks to Parkway!
I underwent ankle surgery on January 10 of this year to replace my right ankle that I had badly broken almost 20 years ago. The support from the Parkway UCC family was very impressive, with cards, phone calls, meals and a volunteer (John Ruiz) to take over a major project while I was unable to handle it myself. Every Sunday while I was unable to attend church Barbara would come home and say, "Everyone was asking about you." Thanks from Barbara and me for all your support. What a great family we have at Parkway Church. - Pete Eggebrecht

SCRIPTURE! Have you wanted to be a Lay Reader, but waiting for someone to ask you? This is your invitation and all are welcome. Please let the Worship Commission know by contacting Val Detjen: booklovervld@gmail.com | 636-230-0222. Many thanks, blessings and peace.

Check out what the Pope has to say about power and humility. He is the real deal!
[Reminder: We cannot control what ads you might see before the Pope's brief and significant message.]

INSPIRATION: If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.... So often, I get discouraged by the many things I cannot do (such as feed a hundred people), that I do not do feed anyone. If I feed one, there is one less hungry person in the world. If every one of us followed this advice, we could feed the world. - Mother Teresa

JOKE : Why did Cinderella get kicked off the baseball team? She always ran away from the ball.
