Alumna to Perform with A.D. Players

Lindsay Ehrhardt (class of '05) will perform with the A.D. Players in their upcoming production of the classic comedy "You Can't Take It With You." Lindsay plays the role of Alice in her first production with A.D. Players. She is thrilled to be working with this well-respected company and in the new A.D. Players theater in the Galleria area.

TAPPS State Academic and Speech Meet Award Winners


Along with being blessed with gorgeous weather, CCS was blessed with success at this year's meet. Of the ten speech event entries, eight advanced to semi-finals, and four advanced to finals. Congratulations to this year's award winners. Read more...
Elementary Speech Meet Winners

Thirty-eight elementary students competed in the district ACSI Speech Meet and brought home top honors in poetry, Bible memorization, fable and folklore, and dramatic Bible prose.  Read more...

Fifth Graders Lead Chapel for Pre-Schoolers


Fifth graders ministered to the preschool-aged children at the Lamb School using puppets and upbeat worship songs they learned in music classes. Elementary Music Director Tania Overton is thankful for the opportunity for these students to be servants and leaders to younger children.
Cultural Impact
Warrior Tribes Day of Service


CCS high school Warrior Tribes recently took part in a full day of school-organized community service. Some high school students stayed on campus working with the elementary school for their annual Tribal Wars competition. Other students worked in the community on specific projects designed for their group. Art Awards Abound


Elementary and secondary art students earned a total of 56 art contest awards at the four events listed below. Congratulations to our talented winners for representing CCS beautifully in our community with the gifts God has given them.
 
Choir and Drumline Brings Home Gold


The high school choir and drumline had the opportunity to perform their contest pieces and receive feedback from a panel of three judges, which included college music educators. For their performance, both the choir and the drumline received a gold rating, which is the highest ranking available at this competition. And for the second time in three years, the choir was awarded an invitation to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York. Read more...

Elementary Baseball and Softball 


K-5th grade athletes are enjoying a fun season with great weather and lots of support from their coaches and fans. Their season will end on May 20 with season-ending parties. Go, little Warriors! 
MS & HS Baseball & Softball Ending Season on Strong Note


The Warrior middle school A baseball team finished their season at the district championship game earning second in the district.

High school baseball and softball athletes are headed for playoffs.
Girls' Golf Team Heads to State


The boys' and girls' golf teams competed in the TAPPS 4A South Regional Tournament at Quail Valley Country Club's El Dorado course. The Warriors were represented by teams of five boys and five girls who fought the windy conditions and displayed great attitude and sportsmanship throughout. The girls team placed fourth and qualified for the TAPPS 4A State Golf Tournament. Track & Field Excel at District and Advance to Regional


Both the girls and the boys track and field teams won District Runner-up trophies - just barely missing out on first place. Several athletes (including relay teams) placed first in district and two athletes broke school records. Advancing athletes are competing in the regional meet. Way to go, Warriors! Read more...
