CHANUKAH IN THE UPPER ELEMENTARY
Chanukah has played a major role in the recent days of the Upper Elementary Division. Each grade and class has made numerous celebrations, projects and all around celebrations l'chvod these days of hallel (praise) and hoda'ah (thanksgiving) to Hakadosh Baruch Hu. Many girls in the Upper Elementary shared their musical talents by playing a variety of musical instruments on stage. Mrs. Tal's 5th Grade voice classes each sang a wonderful rendition of some popular Chanukah medleys turning our lunch room into a concert hall!

One special program that began this year was Project CLIC - Connecting Life In the days of Chanukah. Our 5th Grade students have been earning points towards a gala breakfast if they they work on increasing kedusha in their lives during Chanukah. The program began with a warm treat of hot cocoa and muffins along with inspirational divrei chizuk from Rebbetzin Eichenstein highlighting how important it is to bring more kedusha into our lives, especially during this time.

We thank the Parent Teachers Association (PTA) for their continued support of the students and our programs. During Chanukah they provided doughnuts, arranged a Chanukah Rosh Chodesh treat for each girl, and also hosted our Second Annual Chanukah Open Hallel for mothers and grandmothers. It was a delightful and uplifting experience for everyone.

Enjoy the slide show of many of the wonderful events that occurred during Chanukah!
