History Day Teams Make State!

Congratulations to our 8th Grade participants who made it to State in History Day!
Everett Ries, Becca Skewers, Maddie Maher, Norah Brotman, Maguire Murphy, and Maren Johnson will be participating at State at the  University of Minnesota on Saturday April 29.
Bravo teams!

Our Twenty-Third Annual BIRTHDAY BAGS Service Project was a success!

The generosity of the STM families was amazing and 35 bags were delivered to the Neighborhood House Food Shelf on St Paul's West Side.  Extra cake mixes and frosting were also added to the donation to the Neighborhood House Food Shelf.  Their donations team was very excited about the beautiful bags filled with toys, books, cake mix, frosting, and candles.  The bags will definitely bring a little extra birthday joy to their recipients.

Thank you to everyone who donated!

The Kinders, First, and Second graders had a great time decorating bags and packing them with the help of an amazing team of volunteers: Jessica Nelson, Stacy Sullivan, Anna Swenson, Ann Weber, and Aaron Wachlarowicz.

Thanks to all for making this a successful service project year after year!

Rachael Wachlarowicz and our Wonderful K-2 Teachers - Sister Sara, Ms. Bierschbach, Ms. Koenig, Mrs. Gillen, and Mr Lund.
Calling all Softball Players!

It's time to pull those bats and mitts from storage and get them ready for summer softball!
For those of you who may not know, St. Thomas More sponsors 5 softball teams (4 men's and 1 ladies),  and we play games on Wednesday evenings from mid April to early August.

These teams have been around for a long time, as have many of the participants, so we are looking for fresh players!  If you are interested in meeting some amiable community members and getting exercise to boot, please contact  Chad McCauley (chade.mccauley@gmail.com) for the Men's team or Carol Ney (neyjc@comcast.net) for the Women's team. We can answer questions and distribute information.

We look forward to hearing from you!
Movie Night - TONIGHT!

Our eighth graders are sponsoring Movie Night at the TONIGHT!

As the final fundraiser for their upcoming trip to Washington DC.

Plan to arrive at  6:30 pm .  Cost is $5.  All children fourth grade and younger must be accompanied by a parent, however, supervision will be provided for you from  7 to 7:30  if you are attending Stations of the Cross.

Parent admission is free with a paying student!  You have two movies from which to choose that evening -- the anticipated movies are Princess Bride and The Bee Movie.  Concessions will be available for purchase.  We look forward to seeing you, and to sending our 8th graders off on a wonderful trip!
