Milestone testing is going well and will continue next week for students in grades 5 and 8. Please click HERE to access the main assessment page on our website. Once you have been directed to the main assessment page, please select the appropriate test link (End of Grade, End of Course or Final Exam) to access the full schedule of testing.
Please note, students will not need to bring a book bag to campus during End of Grade Milestone testing. In addition, cell phones and electronic devices such as smart watches, tablets, etc are not allowed in the testing environment. Any electronic items brought on campus will be collected, stored outside of the testing room and then returned to students after the test.
It is important to make sure students get plenty of rest and eat a healthy breakfast each day of their exams. Please click

Year is Now Re-Opened!
Full-time registration has re-opened for students in grades 4-12 interested in attending GOC for 2017-2018. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration process is not complete until all required documents are presented to the school office. For a complete list of documentation needed when registering students, please click HERE. Currently, there are openings for students in grades 4-12. Once a grade level is full, a waiting list will be established. To learn more about the registration process at GOC, please click HERE.

GEORGIA MILESTONE TESTING 
Grades 5 and 8
- The Georgia Milestone End of Grade assessment will continue the week of April 24 for students in Grades 5 and 8. Please click HERE to access the schedule.
- Students in 5th grade only will not have Learning Labs next week (Wednesday, April 26) due to additional testing.

FITNESS TESTING AND PE UPDATES
Grades 4-12
Below, please find the Mandatory Post-Fitness Testing for students currently enrolled in PE (each student must choose one of the following options based upon their grade level):
Grades 9-12

Thursday, May 11 at 8:30 a.m. (before the exam)

EXTRA STUDY HELP SESSIONS - PHYSICS
Attention High School Physics Students!
Dr. Tillotson will hold extra Physics study sessions on Thursday afternoons from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the Parliament. If you have questions, would like help, or would like to complete some of your assignments while Dr. Tillotson is present for support, please plan on attending. (There is no need to register, she will be waiting on you in the Parliament.)

ODYSSEY OF THE MIND TEAM HEADS TO WORLD FINALS
Fund Raiser
GOC's Division II Odyssey of the Mind middle school team competed in the state competition on April 1 at Columbus State University. The team came in 2nd place overall and is heading to the World Finals in Michigan in May!
