The new transmitter is designed with better ergonomics in mind; it is lightweight with easy to use rubber buttons. A new feature is drop detection. This feature identifies when the transmitter is accidentally dropped and ceases all operations.
The new Flex EX2 communicates more securely. The frequency agility feature automatically switches channels when an interference is detected on a channel. Each Flex EX2 system has over one million unique identification codes and never repeats.
The radio still comes available in 4, 6, 8, and 12 button options. Also still available with protective rubber boots, padded nylon case, retractable belt clip, and charging station with rechargeable batteries.
The second-generation transmitter is backwards compatible with first-generation receivers.
NOTE: If ordering a replacement transmitter for a Flex EX system, a Flex EX2 transmitter will be supplied.
