ARE YOU PREPARED?

We all talk about the importance of preparing for earthquakes, but do we ever do anything about it? Learn how to prepare your home to minimize injuries and damage, what you need in your earthquake preparedness to-go and sheltering-in-place kits, how to choose family meet-up locations and make a communication plan, what to do when the shaking starts, and how to recover once the shaking stops.

We will also learn how to prevent or handle potential dangers due to utilities and special planning strategies for children and the elderly.

We invite you to bring a friend from your temple or beyond who may be interested in learning more about ChaiVillageLA.  You are our best resource for spreading the word!

We will be marking where we each live on a local map so we learn who are our literal village members and there will be a fun village slide show, and of course, time to schmooze!
