From the JVA Office: JVA World Challenge Delivers a Game Changing Event Once Again

2007 marked the first ever JVA World Challenge. Until 2010 the event was a year-end championship in mid-June. Fast forward 10 years later and the 10 year anniversary of the JVA World Challenge is the largest and most competitive to date. There are many reasons why the JVA World Challenge is a game changing event for our sport, from the moment you arrive, until the last whistle, followed by the anticipation of next year. Read more.

In Nebraska, the sport of volleyball sells itself. After all, it's the home of Cornhusker volleyball, the 2015 Division I National Champions. However, in Lincoln volleyball is only viewed as a women's sport. VCNebraska is looking to change this perception. Read more.

Sullivan Award. Carlini is the first-ever volleyball player to take home the award. She topped Olympic gold medalists Kyle Snyder (wrestling), Laurie Hernandez (gymnastics), Aly Raisman (gymnastics), Ashleigh Johnson (water polo), Kayla Harrison (judo) and Ginny Thrasher (Olympic shooting) for the honor.
