Welcome 2018!!  

As we leap into 2018, I want to wish you all the best for the upcoming year ahead!  

As the new year at ADA begins, we have a lot of exciting events coming up!  Mark you calendars with all our important and fun dates.  

At this time of the season, we begin to prepare for our year end  show which will be held at St Mark's High School on May 11th & 12th. Costumes have been ordered and  dancers will see a picture and learn of their song this month.  Our theme this year, as we celebrate our 25th year in business, is "A Reason to Celebrate ".

Thank you to all for your loyalty, support and wonderful referrals throughout the years! If you or your friends have any questions about our program please do not hesitate to email or call.

WEE DANCE!
Our next 6 week session will begin on Wednesday February 7th for little ones age 2-3 and their mom or caregiver. It's a special one on one time dedicated to those little ones!

Register at the front desk for these great experiences!   ADA Dance Company members are automatically registered.

 ADA National Honor Society of Dance Arts
  Requirements

~Dancer must be in 9th-12th grade
~Dancer must have & maintain a 3.2 or higher
~Dancer must be studying dance for minimum of 7 hours a week at ADA and maintain attendance and commitment in class

Once these criteria are met, please contact Miss Darlene at [email protected] for info on volunteer points and essay requirements.  

Due date for Winter Induction is February 15th
Fall & Winter Induction will be scheduled in March

Parent Observation & Appreciation Week!!



Come see what your child's classroom experience is like!  Bring your cameras (and maybe even your dancing shoes!) and join us January 20th-25th for a fun filled Parent Appreciation Week!! 

January Contest:

Dancers:  Post a picture or video THANKING your parents for sending you to DANCE!!   Tag American Dance Academy and get your name put in the hat.  At the end of Parent Appreciation Week we will pick a name and you will win a $30 gift certificate to take your parents out for a special meal with you!  
Snow Closings
 
As a reminder, if we need to close due to snow, an email will be sent out within one hour of class time.  We often start classes for the day but need to close by the evening.  Decisions to close are often made mid-evening if there is no snow on the ground at the beginning of our day.  We will also post all closings on our facebook page so if you haven't "liked" us be sure to do so!

You are entitled to a make up class if we close due to weather.  You may choose the class make up time from our schedule.  Company members are excused from class if we close but can choose to make it up if they wish.
Hip Hop class
HIP HOP & POM DANCERS:
As a reminder:  
PLEASE DO NOT WEAR SHOES that have been worn outside into our dance rooms.  Sneakers or Combat Boots for dancers should not be worn outside~especially since the salt from snow days can be brought onto our floors and make them very slippery for other dancers.  Please pack a bag and change your shoes before you enter the dance room.

   Spirit Week!
   Show off your ADA spirit wearing our colors of red/white/black or any logo apparel (even pjs)!  Spirit Week kicks off competition and spring recital season.

 Dance Company & Performance Group Showcase Ticket Sales Begin

Summer Camp Our Summer Session schedule will be released soon which will include weekly Performing Arts Camps, Summer Intensives and Master Classes.
