  • Watch this space for more information about new technology coming to Wilton Library  thanks to funds donated from the paddle raise at the Spring Benefit. In the coming months, Wilton Library will be home to charging stations, a new high speed scanner, wireless printing, a DVD duplicator and more.
  • Did you know we have an extensive collection of Foreign Language TV Series DVDs? Series hail from Sweden, Germany, Italy and Israel, among other countries, and include popular titles such as Borgen, Spiral and Wallander. More than 80 items, all with subtitle options, are available free of charge with your Wilton Library card. Click here to see the titles.

Gigantic Spring Book Sale Fundraiser
Saturday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 25
Don't miss our largest book sale fundraiser! Features more than 70,000 items sorted in 50+ categories - mysteries, gardening, travel, and science fiction; gently used, collectible, rare books, DVDs, CDs, books on CD; something for everyone. On Saturday, the Rotary Club of Wilton will sell hot dogs and sodas at lunchtime. Proceeds benefit the library. The silent auction is Saturday and Sunday. Hours and details:
  • Saturday, April 22: 7-9am for Early Buyers with $15 admission fee, free 9am-5pm 
  • Sunday, April 23: 12-5pm
  • Monday, April 24: 10am-5pm, items ½ price
  • Tuesday, April 25: 10am-3pm, $5 per bag
Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence Exhibition and Reception: Meg Pierce
Monday, April 24 @6pm
April brings Meg Pierce to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Pattern, symmetrical design, and grids are the organizing principles in Meg's work. Through working in painting, drawing, and collage, she has been drawn to fine variations in color and line, especially in textiles. Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library.  More info & register
Senior Center Book Discussion - Mary Barton: A Tale of Manchester Life

Miwako Ogasawara leads a discussion of Mary Barton: A Tale of Manchester Life by Elizabeth Gaskell. The novel tells a story of the plight of the lower classes in Victorian-Era England. It's a tale of class conflict, romance, murder, and redemption set amidst industrial Manchester. Group meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month through May. Personal Budgeting for Small Business Owners
