Recently the MLS and GCAR board voted to make a few changes to update our MLS Rules and Regulations.
There Are Few Changes That You May Want To Make Note Of

Required MLS Training
Beginning January 1, 2018, all new MLS users joining the Mississippi Gulf Coast MLS must complete a mandatory MLS Training within 90 days of becoming active. Starting in January, training will be held several times a month at the REALTORĀ® Building. Details and registration for classes can be found on the GCAR calendar at www.gcarealtors.com. If training is not completed within 90 days, the agent may lose access to MLS services.

If the new MLS user is also a new primary GCAR member, this is in addition to New Member Orientation required for new GCAR members.

Reporting Sales to Service:
The amounts for fines and fees for noncompliance on reporting status changes of a listing to the MLS within 72 hours have been updated.

The new fee schedule below will be strictly enforced beginning January 1, 2018:

First offense, $200 $50.00 ; Second offense, $500 $100; Third offense, $1,000 $ 250 and review before the MGCMLS Board of Directors, as per Section 7.
The most recent version of the MGCMLS Rule and Regulations can be found in FlexMLS and under MLS links in the MLS tab.
