CCD Registration Open for 2018 Dates
Registration for the College for Congregational Development is now open. Groups chose either two weekends or a weeklong session:
- April 6-8 & Oct. 26-28
- June 10-15
All sessions will be at The Bishop's Ranch in Healdsburg.

Anti-Racism Training Jan. 27 at Faith, Cameron Park
The first 2018 Anti-Racism Training will be 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, at Faith, Cameron Park. This year's event will be facilitated by leaders from the Kaleidoscope Institute and provides an opportunity to come together as congregational leaders to learn how to help our worship communities appreciate and welcome the great diversity of people among us and around us, and to develop tools to work against the forces of racism in our world.
Anti-Racism Training is required for all who are engaged in ministries of governance (diocesan boards and commissions, as well as vestries and mission committees) and licensed lay ministers.
This event is free, and lunch is included, but registration is required. Please register by Jan. 22, 2018, here.

2018 Bible Challenge: Start a New Study Group at Church
The 2018 Bible Challenge will kick off in the new year with resources, encouragement, and events for starting a new Bible Study in your congregation. Whether you're starting your first Bible Study or a Bible Study for a new group of people, you can begin thinking about who you might invite to participate in the transformative experience of reading the Bible together, and stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!

Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Weekend of Service and Overnight at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco
Join youth (Grades 6-12) from around Northern California at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco for fun, reflection and action in honor and application of the teachings and life of Dr. Marin Luther King Jr. Gather, worship, play games, dive deep, make friends, enjoy food, and march! Summer Camp Registration Opens at Bishop's Ranch
It may be cold outside now, but you can get reduced rates for a summer camp week at the Bishop's Ranch near Healdsburg if you sign up before Jan. 15. The Bishop's Ranch offers programs for youth and families; get more information
here. If you are a young adult who likes to work with children, you can apply to be a
camp counselor; the priority deadline is Jan. 19.

The 31st Annual Diocesan Choir Festival

Meditations on 1 Peter Conference on Jan. 13 in Antelope
The Center for Bible Study at St. Andrews, Antelope, will offer a one-day, Saturday conference, Meditations on 1 Peter. The conference coincides with the publication of the book, "I Peter: A Collaborative Commentary," edited by the Rev. Peter Rodgers, with contributions from 20 of his former students at Fuller Theological Seminary. The conference, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.on Jan. 13, will include presentations from several of the contributors. Registration is $20, which includes lunch. Register here.

The focus for the 2018 United Thank Offering grants is Becoming the Beloved Community: Racial Healing, Reconciliation and Justice.
UTO grants are awarded for projects that address human needs and help alleviate poverty. Applications are due March 2, 2018. More information is
