Earth Day - Friday , April 21
Clover Ridge is celebrating Earth Day!  Student Council would like to invite all students to wear blue or green in support of the Earth.  Homerooms will have the opportunity to help with a cleanup of the school grounds, complete a Kahoot, and attend a special assembly.  Also, please remind students to continue to show and follow Clover PRIDE.  The PRIDE Tower is almost full.  We can do it CRE!  Keep earning the Catch-a-Clovers by being Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Cooperative.
Parent Survey
Thank you to the 100+ parents who have completed the short survey to provide feedback to our building.  We greatly appreciate the comments and responses.  We look at all feedback as a way to better improve your child's educational experience.

The link below will take you to an anonymous survey.  The survey consists of 34 questions related to building climate, safety, academic rigor, and programming.  Your feedback is very important to us and valued.  This should only take a few minutes to complete.

Please complete the survey by Wednesday, April 26th.

Carver Elementary School
Parent Information Meetings
Carver Elementary School will be holding Parent Information Meetings on Tuesday, April 25th and Tuesday, May 1st from 6:30-7:30 pm at Chaska High School in the Blue Forum.  Parents are welcome to pick an evening to join Mrs. Johnson, principal and staff to learn more about the program at the new school.

Parent Input Forms
Class lists for next year are developed each spring to assure optimum learning for all students.  Many components are reviewed as we strive to personalize learning and accommodate the individual needs of students. Factors such as academic achievement, learning/teaching styles, first language, special needs, gender balance, and social combinations are considered.

We recognize that parent input into these decisions can be very useful and should be considered.  If there is information we need to know about your child, we encourage you to complete this form and return by April 28.

Please join me in congratulating both Laura McCaghy and Jake Jauert for being nominated and selected as a finalist for the District 112 Foundation Teacher of the Year!  What an incredible honor!

We are very fortunate to work in a building made up of an incredible group of educators!

Congratulations Laura and Jake!

A reception held in the honor of our 5 finalists will be on Thursday, April 20th from 3:30 to 5:00 PM at Chaska High School.  There will also be an awards banquet for families and colleagues to celebrate their nomination.  This is a great accomplishment and well deserved honor for these outstanding educators.

Transition Plans for Students
Students that are attending a different Elementary School next year will have an opportunity to meet some of the staff and see their new building!

  • May 3rd 1:30-2:45:  CRE students who will be attending Carver Elementary for the 2017-2018
school year will meet with the Principal, Mrs.Johnson at CRE to learn more about what the school and classes will look like.  They will then get on the bus with fellow CVR students and take a ride out to Carver where they will drive by the site.  Students will not be invited on the grounds of Carver Elementary at this time as it will still be under construction. What a fun adventure!
  • May 4th 8:30-10:30: CES students who will be attending Clover Ridge Elementary for the 2017-2018 school year will take a bus ride to CRE and meet with Mr. Slinde, the school principal.  Students will get a building tour and learn about school events, classes and meet the staff at Clover Ridge.  How exciting!
