Winter Reads - Enjoy Winter, Enjoy Reading

When the weather gets cold and blustery, our natural inclination is to stay warm inside - perhaps in the company of a good book. This year's annual winter reading program for adults can help you maximize how much you read, and maybe even get you outside for a little winter fun!

You can visit your local library for books & audiobooks, recommendations for what to read next, and book- and winter-related activities that will get you out of your usual rut.

You can also do all of this online!  Download eBooks and eAudiobooks from Cloud Library, and then sign up for book recommendations, log your books, and complete reading- and winter-related activities through Beanstack

For more information - including author programs - visit the Winter Reads website at www.scottlib.org/WinterReads.

Pulled apart, the Matryoshka spills out smaller figures, each one inside a larger doll, until the tiniest one is revealed.  This presentation gives helpful background to the holiday nesting dolls exhibit at The Museum of Russia Art.

It covers what Identity theft is, how to protect your identity and avoid identity theft, and provides clear action steps to take if it happens to you. Registration required.
