Day of Giving 2017 Raises $177,000 from 672 Donors!
|
|
On Thursday, April 6, our second annual day of giving event, Orange & Black Give Back, took place. This year, 672 donors gave more than $177,000! Of those who gave, 218 were faculty and staff members, and 176 donors gave to the university for the first time. We want to give a HUGE thank you to all who participated this year!
Anderson University alumni and friends connected with the university and with each other on social media using #AUGiveBack. Activities from the day, such as the Donor Honor Roll and Class Year Leaderboard, can be viewed at anderson.edu/give-back.
Last year, in AU’s first ever Day of Giving event, alumni and friends of the university exceeded the initial goal of 250 donors with a final total of 575 donors who gave over $111,000. This year’s donor goal was 650.

AU Commencement to Take Place on May 6, 2017
|
|
As classes begin to wind down for another school year, please pray for our AU students, and soon-to-be graduates, as they come to mind.
You can probably remember the stress leading into finals week. This year, finals week is the first week of May, with graduation occurring on May 6.
Your prayers, as always, are appreciated!

New Process for Gift Receipts from Office of Advancement
|
|
In an effort to be good stewards of the gifts we receive, on May 1, 2017 we will start sending an electronic receipt to those for whom we have an email address. This receipt will be sent from giftrecords@anderson.edu. By sending your receipt through email you will receive it quicker and more efficiently, as well as allowing us to be more eco-friendly. These financial savings offer opportunities to enhance the student educational experience for Anderson students.

Every summer we open our campus to high school students for a variety of
camps including
music business, musical theatre, dance, music education, string instruments, and harp. Our residential music, theatre, and dance summer camps are designed for students, ages 14-18 with Harp Camp open to ages 7 and older.
Students stay in our dorms and are provided housing, food, and a full slate of classes, lessons, and rehearsals each day!
We love the opportunity to help students enhance their artistry, explore their passion for the arts, and gain greater confidence in their abilities across all disciplines. If you know any high school age students interested in music or dance, please share the news about these incredible camps. Learn more about all of our summer camps online.
