It doesn't take long to understand why Discount Drug Mart has put together an extraordinary flu-shot program: You ask their Director of Pharmacy Operations, Jason Briscoe, about the number of flu shots given by the chain's 73 stores in Ohio and he says with infectious joviality, "We don't like to talk about the number of flu shots given - we like to talk about the number of patients protected." No wonder one of his pharmacists told us, "I love flu shot season."
