NEW! CRCDS is offering CF-200 "The Life and Thought of Charles Wesley" as a summer intensive

"This course is an in-depth study of Charles Wesley's life and thought. Charles "the other Wesley," was a major contributor and shaper of the Wesleyan tradition - in terms of his evangelism, hymns, and the challenges of living a happily married life in the midst of the relentless demands of ministry. This examination Charles' writings will be set in the context of his life and times and based on a close reading of important primary and secondary resources. Particular attention will be paid to the on-going relevance of his work for contemporary Christian practitioners in the Wesleyan theological tradition."
The class will run approx. 8:30-3:30 Mon-Fri  June 11-15.
It costs $150.00 for clergy and alumni/ae to audit and $300.00 for others.
The class is being taught by the Rev. John R. Tyson
Professor of Church History
Director of UMC Studies
