Winter Camps
Boys Only Camp
Ages: 8-14

Focus Session #1: The focus of this camp will be on adapting and coping. We are hoping to have a visitor join us - perhaps a chameleon!
Focus Session #2: Executive function and planning.
GIRLS ONLY SELF CARE CAMP
Ages: 8-14
Date: Sat. January 13 & February 3, 2018
Time: 10-noon

FOCUS: The power of positive thinking through mindfulness, visualization & hands on creating. Campers to learn how to manage stress and will engage in activities that support self image and self esteem. Hazel, the therapy dog will be joining us as well!
Drumming With Sean
Ages: 7 and up
Date: Fridays 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, and 3/2 2018
Time: 4:30-5:30 P.M.

FOCUS: Come stimulate the integration of the two hemispheres of the brain! Drumming is a wonderful tool to support self esteem and stress management along with using two sides of the body in a coordinated way. Drums provided or bring you own.
This camp
will focus on body awareness skills, body strengthening, sensory processing, mo
tor planning, directional concepts, developing language and following directions while moving our bodies through the snow! Tromping through the snow
offers wonderful proprioceptive input.
These concepts will be supported through the building of a snowman! Brain and development at its best! Come play and learn. Therapists will be their to guide, inspire, inquire, and facilitate learning! This will be intense therapeutic play! ALL children are welcome. This will camp will be indoors as well but mostly outdoors.

Handwriting Camp - Lower Case Letters - SPRING
Ages: 4 years 6 months-7 years
Date: 6 consecutive Mondays starting March 26, 2018
Time: 4:30-5:30 p.m.

FOCUS: This camp will offer guidance on lower case letter formation through a multi-sensory approach. Writing is a lifelong skill that impacts all areas of learning!
