This Saturday 10a-12noon is the last winter market before regular season opening day on May 27!
Sign up now for the 11th Annual Memorial Day 5K Race. Register by May 1st to be guaranteed a free t-shirt. Get your team together: 20 or more means discounted fees and your own team colors. 


State Representative Margo L. Davidson's 6th Annual International Restaurant Days  is happening now through April 21. Visit participating Lansdowne restaurants for savings on great dining. Patrone, Avenue Deli, The Icery, Avianna, and Empire Diner are offering discounts.


Applications now available for Lansdowne Arts on the Avenue Festival that will be held September 10. This is a juried show and applications are available through April 15.

Next Saturday, April 22, we have two volunteer opportunities to make a difference in the community. Spend a few hours sweeping or painting.You'll be making Lansdowne beautiful and helping those who are less fortunate. What a great way to kick off National Volunteer Week.
LEDC Annual Meeting Reminder
"Creating Impact" is the theme with guest speaker Jeffrey P. Doshna, Ph.D. Assistant Professor
Department of Planning and Community Development, Tyler School of Art of Temple University.

The meeting will be held Thursday, April 20 at Avianna at 55 E. Baltimore Avenue, Lansdowne.
Mixer begins at 6:30p and program starts at 7:00p .
Free Trees to Residents
The Lansdowne Shade Tree Commission encourages residents to plant trees and offers free trees in celebration of Arbor Day. Requests for trees should be made by calling Mary Lou Jennings at 610-622-0162. Deadline is April 15. Come celebrate Arbor Day on Friday, April 21 at 1p at Sycamore Park with the Shade Tree Commission.
Delaware County News
Delaware County Planning Department, in cooperation with the Delaware County Housing Authority, is currently conducting an Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH) to determine what actions can help residents – particularly those living in poverty – meet their housing needs.  We need your help!  Please provide your opinions and experiences regarding housing choice by completing our survey. The purpose of the survey is to gather information that will help the Planning Department and Housing Authority identify and address barriers that restrict access to opportunity in Delaware County.
