A reminder to all that Tuesday-Sunday, May 10-15 is considered Finals Prep Week and is intended to provide additional space for students to prepare for tests, papers and finals. These six days are set aside for academic preparation for finals and Luther does not schedule public events during this time, including student-led events. All campus events conclude before May 12. Exceptions include athletic events, social gatherings, Cool Aid, student research symposia and Senior Recognition Day and Research Symposium.
Luther Serves takes place April 29 with shifts from 9:30-12:00 and 1:30-4:00. Luther Serves is an opportunity for students to go out into the community to help people with spring yard work and chores. Money raised will support the Luther College Book Fund and Pathway to Citizenship. Students may sign up online or in the Union in the weeks leading up to the event at dinner time. The Luther College Varsity Band and Luther's Wind and Percussion Ensemble will present a fall concert at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life. Varsity Band will perform works by Clare Grundman, Frank Erickson, Walter Ross and by Frank Ticheli. The Wind and Percussion Ensemble will perform works by Gustav Holst, Robert Spittal, Roger Cichy and John Philip Sousa.

J-TERM 2018 IN TANZANIA - The Paideia 450 course "People and Parks: Pastoralism and Conservation in East Africaā€¯ is a cultural immersion experience based in Maasai villages, small towns, and conservation areas in northern Tanzania.
