Spring is finally here, and we're welcoming the warm weather with outside games, Boys & Girls Club Week celebrations, and gearing up for April vacation camp.
Some highlights around the Club this April...
-
Staff member Haley has been keeping our artistic members busy with creative activities like water marbling, teen painting, and (thanks to a generous donation from Jo-Ann Fabrics) a crazy flower factory!
-
Right now, our Club is running a pilot program called Positive Action with a group of middle schoolers and a group of kindergartners, which explores how to make good choices in life and encourage each other through tough times. We've had a great response so far and are excited to see how it develops!
-
Some of our more theatrical members had a great time performing in "Lights, Camera, Action", the Club's annual dance show. With a cast of close to 30 and 16 numbers choreographed by alumni and teen members, it was a fun movie-themed evening for everyone.
DID YOU KNOW?
-
Because we're an official Kidcents charity, you can support the Club by "rounding up" any Rite Aid purchase to the nearest dollar, and allowing the change to be donated. For every $500 raised Rite Aid matches penny for penny, so $500 becomes $1,000. This is a great way to support the Club! See more info by

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: BOYS & GIRLS CLUB WEEK
Each year, the Boys & Girls Club of America designates a week in the spring as a week to celebrate the Clubs across the country, their relationship to the community, and the members that make them the special place they are
. This year, our kids had a great time celebrating BGC week with special programs, theme days, and fun activities that kept them busy every afternoon. Favorites included Superhero Day, a popular sports-related relay race, and celebrating the "Open Door Friday" by releasing our
new virtual tour

Dear Parents
Every day here at the Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, we witness the impact of a single action that gives our members the opportunity for a great future. A gesture of kindness, a smile that creates a new friendship, an experience that sparks an interest in learning, or a simple conversation between a child and an adult. Homework help, arts & crafts, and sports are just a few of the activities that we are sure your child has had an opportunity to participate.
We work to keep membership fees affordable by fundraising throughout the year.
The One Annual Campaign is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts. Funds raised allows us to add resources and provide new opportunities for our members. We are hoping that each of you will join the effort by making a gift to this year's campaign. Every gift no matter the size is important.
Your gift signals your confidence in our mission that every child deserves a great future.
