PRINT DEADLINES
The hours of operation for the media center have been extended to 8:15 am - 8 pm every day of the week, including the weekend for the rest of the semester; this is meant to provide student’s access to all normal media center functions, i.e. printing, material sales and laser cutting. Use this extension in hours wisely.

As we approach the end of the semester, the college would like to remind students and faculty members about print scheduling. As a general rule of thumb, any prints turned in after 7 pm are not guaranteed to be returned the same day.

Regarding final review printing, due to the higher volume of printing for finals, we are asking students and faculty to submit all prints around 48 hours prior to the crit to guarantee prints are done on time. As an example, if a student’s final review is on Thursday, prints should be submitted by Tuesday evening at 7 pm. For Monday morning reviews, the print should be submitted no later than Saturday by 7 pm. Students are expected to pay for their prints at the time of submission . Only in the event of an after-hours submissions via the door mail slot will students be allowed to pay after prints are completed.

Files ready for printing can be submitted after-hours by filling out a printed form located to the right side of the media center door, attaching your flash drive with tape and turning it in through the mail slot in the door. Students that use the after-hours method of submission are “first in line” to be printed once the media center opens. If students start lining up at 8:15 am to print and there are submissions from overnight, the overnight submissions take precedent.

Additionally, the policies regarding laser cut sign-ups and 3D printing submissions have not changed.

COMMUNITY & REGIONAL PLANNING

We are saddened by the death of Professor Emeritus of Community and Regional Planning M. Marie Fischer, on March 30, 2017, in Lincoln, at the age of 89. Marie was among the first group of faculty members who taught in the Master of Community and Regional Planning program, which was established in the mid-1970s. Marie joined the faculty in 1978 and spearheaded the development of courses in the areas of human services planning, community development and grant writing. She was a highly effective teacher and mentor for many early graduates of the MCRP program. More-

This event celebrates the end of the final week of work and the beginning of our consolidated final review schedule. Final reviews for all architecture studios and for Design Thesis will occur between Monday morning and the end of the day on Wednesday, April 24-26. In addition to familiar faces, we have invited outside critics to provide insight and critical perspectives from outside of the school. More-
