PARTNER CORNER
Jumpstarting Careers with Phase2Careers
Job seekers in the Redwood City community continue to reap the benefits from the Library partnership with
Phase2Careers is a career development nonprofit organization that offers programs and services for job seekers.

Phase2Careers holds workshops at the library such as January's " Start the Year by Exploring and Harnessing Your Creative Potentials" which will provide simple and powerful ways to dramatically enhance your creative potential and productivity in your life and career.

Recent Phase2Careers programs have included: The Recruitment Mixer, Box Employer Forum, Mock Interviews, Volunteerism for Professional Development, and Social Media for Job Search. Programs from Phase2Careers involve local HR specialists and business professionals from Peninsula companies, providing authentic information and opportunities for business development, career development, volunteering, networking, and job opportunities.

The mission of Phase2Careers is to assist the "Over 40" Worker in the Bay Area with finding new career opportunities through job search and career development workshops, networking and recruitment events and special career presentations.  A job seeker said, "Phase2Careers provides awareness of the job market as well as valuable insights and perspectives on employment opportunities and approaches."
