Frisco Apartments Hinge on Land Rights, Zoning
Frisco has 11,949 existing urban living and garden-style apartment units, 3,663 units under construction and another 7,248 units in the pipeline. 

Residents have expressed opposition to apartment projects in the city because of an increase in traffic, among other reasons-opposition city officials say they understand but in some cases do not have the legal authority to address. Read More...
Frisco Historic Success Credited to Consistent Leadership
When outgoing Frisco Mayor Maher Maso took office in 2008, the city's population was approximately 96,000. Five years later when Jeremy Lyon took over as Frisco ISD's superintendent, that population had grown to about 130,000, and the school district had an enrollment of 46,000 students.
Today, the city has more than 160,000 people and a $5 Billion Mile under construction, and FISD has more than 55,000 students and 65 schools. Read More...

Please join us for the Governmental Affairs Committee meeting on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 10:30 AM in the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Event Room. Dr. Lyon, Superintendent of Frisco ISD, will speak about the budget and current legislation. All Chamber members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Leadership Frisco Applications 

The Leadership Frisco Advisory Council will accept applications in Spring 2017 for the 2017-2018 year for Leadership Frisco Class XXI. Leadership Frisco is a nine-month community leadership program sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. The purpose is to develop a pool of qualified, highly motivated individuals who are interested in expanding their leadership skills, deepening their sense of civic responsibility, and becoming more involved in their community as a whole.

Class XXI will start in September 2017. Please download and follow the detailed Application Instructions prior to filling out the 2017-2018 Leadership Frisco Application. Applications must be submitted electronically by 5:00 PM on June 9, 2017. Late applications will not be accepted.

Frisco Rotary Farmers Market
The Frisco Rotary Farmers Market meets every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (or sell out). The Farmers Market is located at 4th Street between Main and Elm (in the parking lot behind the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.)  Open May through October 21, 2017.
