Youth Institute on Canada in the World - a Canada 150 Initiative, hosted by Fulbright Canada

From September 30 to October 8, 2017, Fulbright Canada will be hosting the Youth Institute on Canada in the World. The Institute will support 20 undergraduate students from the United States and Canada who are eager to provide an important perspective on Canada's role in the world and Canada - U.S. relations.

Participants will travel to Ottawa and Quebec City (all expenses paid) for ten days of discussion, policy formulation, and cultural activities. Students will have the opportunity to engage directly with foreign policy experts, academics, Canadian diplomats, senior officials in the Government of Canada and the Government of Quebec, and media representatives. Travel, accommodation, and related expenses will be covered.

The Institute is seeking a diverse applicant pool from a variety of disciplines such as economics, political science, environmental studies, and the fine arts. More information on the program and eligibility can be found on the Fulbright Canada website.

Applications are open and will be accepted until May 31, 2017.
