Senior Pastor Search Committee Report

On Dec. 17, the Search Committee met with Rev. Charles Foster Johnson to discuss resources for finding candidates. Charlie continued to remind us what a strong, well-respected church we have and its attractiveness to candidates. At the Dec.19 meeting, the committee reviewed resumes and discussed sermons they had listened to for “homework.” The committee will not meet during the week between Christmas and New Year.
You may email the committee regarding any communication at spsc@secondb.org .

Synagogue Guests worship at Second B

We will continue our long-term partnership with the Synagogue in 2018 with a new addition: we will join with our Jewish friends not only in worship but also in feeding the hungry. Please plan to bring a donation to the South Plains Food Bank or canned food with you to this year's exchange weekend as we join hands in caring for those who need our help.
We're Wired!
With many thanks to our Building Administrator, Mike Spann, Second B now has a strong WiFi signal throughout the building. Simply sign on to any Second B network
using "secondbaptist" as your password. Thanks, Mike!

We also now have television monitors in nearly all classrooms! These are "smart" tvs that have all up-to-date connection ports that you might need for presentations in class. If you have any questions about how to use these new devices,
just ask Mike or Stephanie! Thanks, Mike, for helping us meet this goal of our 2020 Provocative Proposals!
