New Year's Blessing after the 8:45 Mass

Altar Server Training

We have a great need for more altar servers to assist our priests and deacons at masses. Anyone who has received First Holy Communion and is at least 8 years old may become an altar server.

Training is required for servers, and parents or adult servers must complete Diocese of Austin Ethics & Integrity in Ministry requirements. Training sessions for new altar servers will be held on
Wed., Jan. 17 at 7-8:15 p.m. and Sat., Jan. 20  at 10-11:15 a.m. At least one parent or guardian is required to attend this training with any child under the age of 18.

For questions or to RSVP for a training session, email Kristen Dempsey Pasyk or call the parish office.
Additional Ushers/Greeters Needed

We have a real need for Ushers/Greeters at the 5 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Sunday Masses. Ushers/Greeters welcome people to Mass, coordinate the collection baskets, and ask people to bring up the gifts during Mass. This is a great way to meet other parishioners and demonstrate St. Austin's hospitality to visitors and guests. New Ushers/Greeters are asked to serve at least once a month. If you are interested or would like more information, please contact Kristen Dempsey Pasyk.
