Taste of the West is the premier culinary event in Jefferson County. The "Taste" will feature award-winning cuisine from many of Jeffco's best restaurants. Leadership Jefferson County (LJC) is a 35-year-old program designed to develop leadership potential within the community to meet the demands of tomorrow. LJC identifies emerging leaders within the Jefferson County area and provides a broad view of civic leadership through direct contact with the leaders and institutions shaping our community. August through June, monthly, full-day sessions focus on leadership and expose participants to local and state government, health, education, arts, justice, business, nonprofit and human services. New Grant Opportunity for Nonprofits in Jefferson County

Community First Foundation has released a request for proposals for nonprofit organizations in Jefferson County. The Improving Conditions of Community Health in Jeffco grant opportunity will support a wide range of organizations, agencies and groups whose work is improving the community. Nonprofits are encouraged to learn more and apply. The application deadline is 5:00 pm on Thursday, July 13.
