West County residents are invited to attend community building events this week in San Pablo and El Cerrito. Our neighborhoods are safer, stronger, cleaner and more bike/pedestrian friendly when we work together!
WHAT: Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Study/Community Workshop
WHO: City of San Pablo
WHEN: Wednesday, April 26, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
WHERE: San Pablo Community Center, 2450 Road 20, San Pablo
ABOUT: The City of San Pablo's final community workshop for its exciting Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan will include the unveiling of draft recommendations and opportunities for feedback. T
here will be free food, childcare, and Spanish interpretation.
WHAT: 'Not Alone: Becoming Allies', community conversation
WHO: City of El Cerrito's Human Relations Commission, in partnership with the Anti-Defamation League
WHEN: Saturday, April 29, 10:30 a.m. to noon
WHERE: El Cerrito City Hall, 10890 San Pablo Avenue (off Manila Ave.)
ABOUT: An open,
facilitated community conversation among West County neighbors of all ages in order to share experiences and concerns, and to learn how to prevent bullying and how to support each other. Curriculum will
provide information, resources, and practical strategies for all of us wanting to feel less vulnerable in difficult situations. Light snacks will be provided, but bringing lunch is encouraged.
Organizations or community groups working or serving El Cerrito can request a table (indicate in your RSVP) to share information or other resources.
Indicate on your

the ages of all participants so we can plan content and logistics accordingly.
