On the day before Easter, my family enjoyed a fun day together at Target Field watching our beloved Twins defeat the dreaded Chicago White Sox. Sitting in the stands that day, I couldn't help but reflect on a previous Chicago White Sox team...the 1919 squad , including the great Shoeless Joe, who were banned from baseball for life in what became known as the "Black Sox Scandal."  How in the world could a dominant team throw away their opportunity for a World Series victory? ... Quilt Machine Changes a Life in Jamaica!

Through the generosity of Camp quilters and the loving presence of the Jamaican Missions Team from Upsala (including Camp staff Phil & Jan Gerth and Linda Day), Shane was presented with a sewing machine and with it, the makings of a new future. Praise God!
