Seis Lagos Christmas Party THANK YOU!

The Seis Lagos Christmas party was big success!   The elves decorated the room, planned fun craft projects, DJ'd, served cookies, hot cocoa and cider.  Every child had their photo taken with Santa and printed with a Fuji film Instax Mini 8 camera and mounted on card stock perfect for a scrapbook.

Special Thank you to the elves: Kim Overholt, D'ana Pedigo, Edi Otts, Kayla Hainer, Paul Harrington (for the sound system) and David Couron for decorating the outside of the clubhouse, guard house, and the clubhouse trees.  It all looks outstanding!

An extra special thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus for their hospitality during the evening.  They would not have made it to the party without the help of the Lucas Fire Department.  Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived on a Fire Truck and ambulance with four of the crew members on duty.

As a gentle reminder to the community: All Seis Lagos Special Events are Family events.  Parents are responsible for their children at ALL times. There should be NO unattended children or teenagers at these events. We reserve the right to ask any unattended child to leave but they may return with a parent if the parent intends to stay at the event.

Future Seis Lagos Events

  • Seis Lagos Community Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday 3/31/18
  • Spring Parking lot sale: Saturday 4/14/18
  • Special Needs Group Gathering
  • Grief Support Group Gathering
  • Neighborhood Game night for adults and older teens

If you would like to coordinate one of these events please contact Christi Davidson in the HOA office at 972-442-3000, to set up a date to reserve the Clubhouse or Cabana at no charge.

Without volunteers, these events will not be possible.  Please consider volunteering.  It's a great way to meet new neighbors.
Cold Weather Safety Tips

Protect your pipes.  Run water, even at a trickle, to help prevent your pipes from freezing. Open the kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors to allow warmer air to circulate around the plumbing. Be sure to move any harmful cleaners and household chemicals out of the reach of children. Keep the garage doors closed if there are water lines in the garage.

Better safe than sorry.  Keep the thermostat at the same temperature day and night. Your heating bill may be a little higher, but you could avoid a more costly repair job if your pipes freeze and burst.

Don't forget your furry friends.  Bring pets indoors. If they can't come inside, make sure they have enough shelter to keep them warm and that they can get

Remember the three feet rule. If you are using a space heater, place it on a level, hard surface and keep anything flammable at least three feet away - things such as paper, clothing, bedding, curtains or rugs.to unfrozen water.

Fireplace. If you are using a fireplace, use a glass or metal fire screen large enough to catch sparks and rolling logs.
