Acting Workshop

MS. LARA’S ACTING WORKSHOP at The Barn is the ultimate fun-while-learning opportunity for creative kids and teens, and is perfect for parents looking for affordable, high quality theatre arts instruction for their child in a safe, warm, cooperative and collaborative social setting. Utilizing specific skill-building warm-ups, elocution exercises, theatre games, trust exercises, relaxation techniques, improvisational activities, scene and monologue work, Ms. Lara focuses on freeing creative expression and artistic sensitivity, building self-esteem and self-awareness while simultaneously expanding teamwork skills and enriching students’ understanding of acting as a form of storytelling.  Participating students will naturally improve in reading comprehension and fluency and become more poised in their presentation skills.  Most importantly, they will have a fantastic time and make lasting friendship and creative connections with like-minded peers!  

Open to students 7-15 years old

Sundays: 2:45-4:45

January 7th through March 25th. (10 Classes)

Participation Fee: $150 

Siblings receive $10 discount
